Site Conditions We Handle
WA project sites are rarely flat, dry, and close to town. Since 2006, SPG has mobilised camps into the state’s toughest conditions, and every unit in our fleet is designed and built in-house specifically for them.
Camp Hire for Your Industry
Drilling and exploration crews move as the resource does. Our camps mobilise fast to greenfield sites, house crews of any size, and relocate again when the program shifts to a new prospect, without losing a week to setup.
Civil and construction sites need a camp that scales with the build: tight at the start, larger through the peak, wound back at handover. We adjust unit numbers to match your workforce at each stage.
Road maintenance and upgrade crews often work in a straight line across hundreds of kilometres. We mobilise camps along the route and relocate as the crew progresses, so accommodation is never what holds up the job.
Rail corridor projects run to a fixed possession window. Our camps go in and out of position on the same schedule as the track work, so the crew is housed exactly when they’re on site and gone when they’re not.
Solar builds bring a large crew to a single site for a defined build period. We supply camps sized for the full workforce, with the catering and ablution capacity a big crew needs day to day.
Power infrastructure projects, from substations to transmission lines, often run in locations with no existing accommodation. We deliver a full camp setup to a site with nothing already there, and support it through to completion.
Recovery work starts before the roads are properly open. Our fleet mobilises on short notice, delivering ablution, catering and accommodation to support crews clearing and rebuilding after a cyclone, flood or bushfire.
Mobile Camp Dry Hire
If a turnkey camp is not needed for your project, our equipment is also available for dry hire. You can collect it from our Newman Depot, or we can deliver directly to site.
On-Site Mobilisation/Demobilisation
With Western Australia spanning 2.646 million km², there is a great amount of uncharted territory to explore and SPG can meet you there. Simply provide us with the coordinates of your remote accommodation camps and we can deliver to your site.
Labour Hire
If you already have an established campsite, but require staff to manage the day-to-day operations of the camp, we can provide the labour force you need to keep the camp running smoothly, including:
- Qualified chefs to prepare meals, cook, and complete supply runs into town
- On-site security to watch over the site during occasions when you are not there
- Camp service staff such as cleaners and housekeepers to maintain laundry, cleaning, and daily activities

Dry hire can often move within days of your order being confirmed. Turnkey camps need more lead time to plan the full setup [CONFIRM: typical turnkey lead time in weeks]. Tell us your start date as early as possible and we’ll plan the mobilisation around it.
Yes, a deposit secures your booking and locks in the units in our fleet plan [CONFIRM: deposit percentage or fixed amount]. The balance is invoiced against your agreed hire terms.
Yes. Servicing, resupply and any crew changeovers are scheduled around your roster, not the other way around. Tell us your rotation and we’ll build the maintenance schedule to match it.
Our fleet is built to Australian standards and maintained on a documented service schedule [CONFIRM: specific certifications to name, e.g. relevant Australian Standards, WHS/WorkSafe WA compliance, site induction requirements]. We can supply the relevant paperwork for your site induction or client audit on request.
